GROWING BY GIVING

Often we grow most when we are stretched and perhaps at times operating outside our comfort zone. We want to give you that opportunity!

Shirley Community Church is a church that is going through a time of change in which foundations are being laid hopefully for future growth.

We are a small but lively church with opportunities for young people to come in and serve and contribute and grow.

Because we are small we can provide opportunities for development that are not always possible in bigger churches. If your aim is to come and serve, we will do our very best to give you the right environment and support for you to discover and begin to explore your gifting and calling.

We can help you develop in any of these areas through mentoring and the opportunity to study and train. If you have made a bold decision to come to us, then the least we can do is to help you grow and develop through proper support and any training courses that may help you.

We’re not looking for the finished article. We’re looking for potential and the right heart. We will be aiming to discover and explore together what God has got for each one of us and for us as a church.
