We pray for a reviving.

This has been the driest first half of a year since 1929. Everything is beginning to look somewhat parched and baked and we could certainly do with some rain to revive our gardens but more importantly for the various crops that are in the farmers' fields.

What we see naturally in terms of barrenness is equally true spiritually. This land is dry and barren and in need of a move of God.

We've got our day of prayer this Friday (16th).That is going to be the theme of our praying on Friday. Lord will you move again - will you send the rain of your Spirit to soften people's hearts - will you revive your church Lord.

God's word to Isaiah was 'See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.' Even in the desert and the wasteland God can move - do it here we pray. Do it in our generation.
