You're never too old to ...
This could almost be the theme of our baptism service today as we baptise Beryl Parsons and Bob Oliver from Mason House. We want to be a church that sees people from all generations coming to faith and putting their trust in Jesus.
It really is true that you're never too old to do this but sometimes we can keep putting things off. That's never a good move though, as our only guarantee in life is this very moment. There is a danger that putting things off can mean that it is too late.
We are thrilled that both Beryl and Bob want to be baptised and pray that God will bless them both in a special way today. They are taking a step of public faith and obedience that millions of other Christians have taken.
We especially want to welcome family and friends of Beryl and Bob today and trust that your time with us will be enjoyable as you witness with all of us the two baptisms.
