About Us
Bringing God closer to our community ...
For many people, what they do defines who they are. For a Christian though ... who we ARE is of greater importance than what we do.
We ARE part of God’s family because of God’s love for us and our trust in His Son, Jesus. What we do is a reflection of who we are.
Because we ARE part of God’s family, we want to meet together as family to worship and pray. Our main time together is on a Sunday morning at 10.30 a.m.

Our worship is varied – sometimes lively, sometimes quiet; something old, something new. In our worship we want to see God as GOD. It’s not about us and certainly not about style – it’s about GOD.
There are opportunities to pray for those in need. We know that God cares and He’s able both to dramatically change situations and to give His peace and strength to carry on through difficulties.
We want to grow as Christians, we want to be relevant and real, to make an impact - to be the type of people God wants us to be. Someone usually gives a talk to help us in this process.
The theme from the talk then becomes the subject of our small groups that meet during the week. Here we are able to dig deeper and discover more about our lives as Christians. There’s plenty of discussion as well as prayer and usually food.
For the rest of the week?
We’re wanting to demonstrate God’s love wherever we are – in our jobs, at home, whatever we’re doing. Many of us are involved in activities that the church runs or hosts. Some are also involved in the work of the Family Support Centre in Shirley.
