Bringing God closer to our community ...

"He loves me ... he loves me not ... he loves me ... he loves me not ..."

Too often we're like that as Christians - not always sure of God's love and goodness - our faith often based on feelings and circumstances

But that's not the way we should be living as Christians.

So we're believing for 2008 (and beyond) that we can pray and believe that God's favour is continually on us:

May the favour of the Lord our God rest upon us;
establish the work of our hands for us —
yes, establish the work of our hands.
Psalm 90:17

We are not asking for God's favour because we ourselves are good or the church is doing well.

God's heart is FOR US. We're going to believe it and step into the future and the good works that God has prepared for us.

This too was a banner at the front of the church. What a wonderful reminder each time we come to worship ...
